The EWFS offers two bi-annual prizes. The Sudipto Bhattacharya Memorial Prize is a bi-annual award of CHF 2,000 to an outstanding paper in banking or finance presented at the European Winter Finance Summit and the Best Discussant Prize offered by WU Gutmann Center and from 2019 the Spaengler IQAM Research Center.
